At Kinder Cocoon, our rules and policies are designed to ensure a safe, nurturing, and respectful environment where every child can thrive. We request parents to review the following guidelines carefully and help us maintain a smooth and supportive preschool experience for all. 1. Attendance & Punctuality Regular attendance is important for your child’s development and social adjustment. Children should arrive on time and shall be picked up on time. Please inform the school in advance if your child will be absent for more than two consecutive days. 2. Health & Hygiene Children who are unwell (fever, cough, cold, infections, etc.) should remain at home to ensure their comfort and to prevent the spread of illness. Any allergies or medical conditions must be informed to the school in writing. A medical fitness certificate may be required after a child recovers from a contagious illness. 3. Dress Code Children must come dressed in comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing. Shoes must be easy to wear and safe for play (preferably with straps). Please avoid sending children in jewellery or accessories that could be lost or pose safety risks. 4. Meals & Snacks Parents are requested to send healthy, fresh, and nut-free snacks in clean, labeled containers. Junk food, chewing gum, and carbonated drinks are not allowed. Please inform the teacher if your child has any dietary restrictions or allergies. 5. Personal Belongings All personal items (bags, water bottles, lunch boxes, extra clothes) should be labeled with the child’s name. Toys or valuables should not be brought to school unless requested for a specific activity or theme day. 6. Pick-up & Drop-off Only authorized persons (as listed in the admission form) are allowed to pick up the child. Any changes must be informed in writing. Children must be picked up promptly at the end of their scheduled class time. 7. Discipline & Behaviour We use positive guidance and gentle redirection to teach appropriate behavior. Physical punishment or harsh discipline is strictly prohibited. We work closely with parents if any behavioural concerns arise to ensure a consistent and supportive approach. 8. Communication Parents are encouraged to check the school diary/app regularly for updates and notices. Any concerns should be discussed respectfully with the teacher or the Director during designated hours or by appointment. 9. Emergency Policy In case of emergencies, the school will contact the parents immediately using the emergency contact details provided. Parents are requested to keep their contact information updated at all times. 10. Withdrawal Policy One month’s written notice is required for withdrawal from school. Transfer certificates will be issued upon request and clearance of all dues. We thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
